Planning and design go hand-in-hand whether it’s for an MEP project, energy efficiency measures, turnkey construction job or any other type of major projects in all phases, by ensuring that your designs are translated efficiently into an constructability package. AJ-MEP provide planning and design consultancy services and assist in all aspects of handling high-tech projects up to a successful conclusion.

We are open and flexible to acting as independent design review and verification engineer services (DVE) for Building owners and Contractors. The design review is made for all MEP construction engineering disciplines, to check and verify the design documents and the design compliance of the works meet the employer’s requirements for safety, sustainability, functionality, RAM and comply with relevant codes and standards, before commencing construction of any of the works.

It is important in our projects to define the design plan and design deliverables progress report (DDPR) to give an overview of the design progress for the deliverables of each design stage of the project. A DDPR includes a general description, introduction, changes and additional works, progress instructions, and level of complexity (LOC) with various appendices:

• will present the full list of the submission packages.
• will present a summary of the actual and planned progress of each submission package.
• will present a summary of the quantity of documents and drawings in each submission package for the month compared to previous month.
• will present the progress of each deliverable within the submission packages and the quantities of deliverables.

Besides creating detailed construction documents, designing includes providing detailed input to enable evaluation and execution of planning process. To meet the project program as well as key milestone dates, design deliverables, a submission schedule shall be maintained and checked by all parties. The monthly basis look-ahead program will be updated weekly “together with design submission tracker,” considering available design information and design deliverables status, including other material documents.  This will also be a basic communication tool for design submission, and it will help more precise resource planning for all project team members.
