Role: Senior Package Manager
I served as Senior Package Manager on the Qatar Metro and Riyadh Metro programmes, supporting the delivery of some of the largest and most complex urban rail infrastructure projects in the Middle East. These programmes involved multiple underground and elevated assets, stations, depots, systems packages, and extensive stakeholder interfaces within dense urban environments.
My role focused on end-to-end management of major work packages, covering design coordination, procurement, construction execution, testing, commissioning, and handover. I was responsible for managing package scope, programme, cost, quality, and interfaces, ensuring alignment between civil works, MEP, rail systems, and architectural finishes.
A key aspect of the role was interface and risk management, coordinating contractors, designers, systems integrators, and client stakeholders to mitigate clashes and protect critical path activities. I led cross-disciplinary teams to resolve technical, logistical, and sequencing challenges, ensuring safe and efficient delivery within demanding schedules.
I also supported testing and commissioning readiness, ensuring that systems integration, safety validation, and operational requirements were met prior to handover. Both projects were delivered with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational performance, contributing to the successful transition of the metro systems into revenue service.
