Google Data Center Project – Netherlands

Role: Senior Project / Engineering Management (Mission-Critical)

I successfully supported the delivery of a hyperscale Google Data Center in the Netherlands, managing the project through the complete lifecycle from early design coordination and construction delivery to testing, commissioning, and final handover.

My responsibilities covered technical leadership, contractor and vendor coordination, quality and risk management, and interface management across multiple disciplines, ensuring strict compliance with Google’s global standards, local regulatory requirements, and mission-critical performance criteria.

A strong focus was placed on testing & commissioning strategy, system integration, reliability, and operational readiness, enabling a smooth transition from construction to live operations. The project was delivered with no compromise to safety, quality, or uptime objectives, achieving a successful handover to the client and operations teams.

This project strengthened my experience in hyperscale data center delivery, stakeholder management in a multinational environment, and managing complex critical infrastructure under tight schedule and performance constraints.
