We have the knowledge, capability, experience and integrity to make your energy efficiency project successful. Many energy efficiency measures focus on mechanical and electrical equipment. However, the efficiency of a building can often be improved even before specifying MEP installations. The building envelope and its internal layout influence energy performance, and architectural decisions can impact both lighting requirements and HVAC loads.

Together, HVAC and lighting can account for over 75% of energy expenses. For this reason, any design decision that reduces the need for these building systems is beneficial for energy performance. While it helps to use efficient solutions like LED lighting, lighting control, smart technology and variable refrigerant flow systems, even greater efficiency is possible by optimizing the building itself.

Any clients “Bauherren” with their construction projects need an energy efficiency expert (EEE) if they want to receive government funding for energy saving measures. They cannot apply for funding from BAFA without an EEE, that’s why we accompany the measures during implementation and confirm to BAFA after completion that the measures have been carried out in accordance with the minimum technical requirements of BAFA. After that, the applicant / clients get money from the state.

In addition, we provide the thermal insulation certificate for the new building in accordance with the German Building Energy Act (GEG), formerly EnEV. This is necessary for the building application, otherwise the builder will not get a building permit from the building authority.
