Freshair, Saniair & Multiair

The Freshair works with UV light and a small amount of ozone. The ozone generated lies below the threshold value of 17.5 mg/h, i.e. below the natural concentration of ozone. Thus it is harmless for humans and animals. Available in many colors and various shapes.
Germs form no resistance * No residues (e.g. NOx) * No dependence on the building’s ventilation system * For mobile use, ceiling or wall mount possible * No radiation exposure outside the unit * Reduces concentration of odour in the air (e.g. cigarette smoke, cooking odours).

Saniair – used for odour disinfection, purification and other fast applications (without persons‘ presence). The Saniair air purifier exploits UV-C light and a higher quantity of pure ozone. It removes microorganisms and odours in ambient air and on surfaces. Germs and spores are eliminated. All domestic pet and mite allergens are eliminated and so are solvent, kitchen and cigarette odours.

The Multiair Timer combines the benefits of Saniair and Freshair in one device. The Multiair can be used as quick disinfection of room air (without the presence of people) as well as an air cleaner in continuous operation (people can be present). It can be used automatically ON/OFF with timer.

The plasma filter is characterized by high effectiveness and efficiency. The filter is quick and easy to install and can be retrofitted to existing equipment, extraction systems and fume extraction bonnets. The ionization process not only eliminates up to 99% of all odours, but also destroys viruses, pollen, bacteria and other allergenic substances, including tobacco. A release of ozone is thereby excluded. An integrated sensor switches the filter on automatically when the air flow is detected.

Odour-free exhaust air in industrial processes:

• Bad smelling exhaust air can be neutralized using a UV-C/ozone exhaust air cleaning system. This creates ozone, which oxidizes odor carriers to biodegradable residues.
• Installation in an existing exhaust air system is usually possible, flexible and easy without great effort, often also on the roof, the maintenance effort is very low. This technology can further increase the efficiency of the whole system because it is Sustainable and Cost-Effective.

Purifying Exhaust Air Using Photocatalysis, LTP Plasma (*Low Temperature Plasma), or Exhaust Air Scrubbers

• During photocatalysis, natural oxygen (O2) is converted to ozone, a reactive form of oxygen (O3), using UV radiation from ozone-generating lamps. The ozone bonds with odor producers contained in exhaust; organic substances, and substances containing grease and odors are oxidized.  The remains are biodegradable and are conducted away with the exhaust. This method is used in the food, textile, chemical, and waste management industries as well as in processes containing solvents.
• Another method for treating air is LTP plasma* technology, in which gas-phase organic carbon compounds, such as odor molecules, are eliminated and bacteria and viruses are destroyed. Solids and aerosols are separated out during the process in stages using pre-filters. This technology offers diverse options not only for use in industry but also in commercial kitchens and the food services (e.g., display cooking – a type of experience dining “show” where dishes are prepared in front of guests).  Ventilation in living areas can also be equipped with this technology. LTP equipment has proven to be effective in commercial range hoods and food service establishments.
• For certain types of exhaust air, e.g., for exhaust airflow in the textile industry that contains ammonia or tar, oxytec Exhaust Air Scrubbers are located in front of air purifying equipment based on UV-C ozone.
